Woodwork Repair
Bringing back favorite wooden pieces to life is our specialty. From matching woods to color and stain matching, to re-building something old or damaged, our sterling reputation precedes us.
Lichtenberg Effect
This unique and dangerous effect is not for the faint of heart. When a special mixture of water and baking soda is mixed together and carefully applied to a wood’s surface, we then take 15,000 volts (!) of electricity and charge the mixture, which literally zaps the wood and burns down 1/8” to 1/4” deep. The effect, especially when done on gorgeous koa or mango, is fantastic.
Our Process
We work closely with each client, listening to every need and want for the project. Taking all measurements and designing the piece, we then source the exact wood needed, including walnut, koa, mango, zebra, ebony, mahogany, maple, oak, monkeypod, bamboo, sapele. Once everything Is gathered together and is in the shop, the magic begins to happen as it comes together with each meticulous cut. Be it a custom door frame, entry bench or dining room table, every project is built with precision and care.

Radd started woodworking at the young age of 15 when he apprenticed with his father who was a carpenter and woodworker. Making Maui his home in 2002, Radd has been producing fine art furnishings that adorn the homes of happy clients. Radd works with designers, galleries, and customers to create custom, artful pieces. His work is regularly juried into Art Maui, Maui’s premiere art show.
